About the Hotel

The residential accommodation consists of 17 first floor en-suite bedrooms which are light, airy and peaceful so you can enjoy a good night’s sleep. There is a choice of single, double, twin and family rooms. All are well equipped with television, radio, phone, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities as a minimum. A ground floor bedroom has been specially adapted for use by our less mobile guests. The hotel has a spacious reception area in which guests can meet or relax with a newspaper. Ample free parking is available to the front of the hotel.

The hotel features the Clipper Bar and Grylls Restaurant and has extensive function facilities.

Clipper Bar

This comfortable and cosy well-stocked bar is perfect for a relaxing drink during the day or late into the evening and offers a comprehensive bar menu for a more informal dining experience. The bar opens out into a beautiful gardened area with its own unique water features, a pleasure at any time but enchanting on warm summer days and evenings.

Grylls Restaurant

The 55 seater restaurant offers an excellent a la carte menu every evening of the week to both residents and non-residents. The restaurant is also available for special lunch bookings that are perfect for clubs and socials and business entertaining. Sunday lunch is ever popular and booking is always strongly recommended.

Functions

The Gwealdues Hotel is renowned for its functions, hosting a wide variety of events for both the local community and further a field. The Ball Room, with its large sprung dance floor and own private bar can hold up to 120 seated and 300 standing. It is popular for wedding receptions, private parties and any meetings where large numbers of people need to gather in comfortable surroundings. The hotel excels at catering for such events. The hotel is also an ideal venue for small conferences and business training events.
